I want to share with you some of my favorite healthy snacks that are easy to make - and will make you feel much better than any junk food!
1. Skinned Cucumbers
- This is one of my favorite snacks - and is very refreshing, especially during summer.
- First, skin the outside of the cucumber.
- Then, chop into medium-sized peices.
- Sprinkle with salt & pepper.
- Eat!

2. Peanut Butter & Celery
- Celery is a non-calorie food (you actually burn calories when you eat it!). And, peanut butter is so good for you (in moderation). It contains healthy fat & protein!
- All you need to do is fill the middle of the celery stick with peanut butter & enjoy.

- This snack is low-cal, light and packed with nutrition.
- The easiest way to prepare this is to put 1/4 of a cup of cottage cheese in a bowl.
- Then, chop a fruit of your choice (apples, pears, etc.) to put on top or on the side.
- Yummy!
Cottage Cheese & Fruit |
- Chickpeas (which are the main ingredient in hummus) are a fantastic healthy snack all on their own. They are actually a great source of protein - believe it or not!
- Anyways - you can eat hummus with pita bread or pretzels (or better yet, celery or carrots)!
